23 is the citywide zoning condition governing where mobile food vendors can operate. Subsection a limits each lot to a maximum of one mobile food vending unit. Subsection e requires the vendor to maintain a distance of fifty feet from any lot zoned residential, which pushes standard mobile food vending out of Renton's residential districts and into commercial, mixed-use, and industrial lots unless that buffer is met. , except that a special event can keep the unit at the same location for up to seventy-two consecutive hours.
