Sahuarita, AZ Food Trucks & Mobile Vendors: Vending Zones (2026)

Sahuarita does not have officially mapped food truck vending zones or designated mobile food vendor corridors like larger metropolitan cities. Instead, food trucks may operate on any commercial or mixed-use zoned parcel with written permission from the property owner. Common locations include shopping center parking lots along Sahuarita Road and Rancho Sahuarita Boulevard, the Sahuarita Town Center area, and near the Fry's and Walmart commercial nodes. Food trucks may not set up on residential-zoned property for regular service, though private catering at residential events is generally allowed. The Town permits food truck gatherings at special events, community festivals, and the periodic food truck rally nights organized at Town parks or public spaces. Vendors at these events operate under a temporary event permit obtained by the event organizer. Food trucks must not block traffic lanes, fire lanes, ADA-accessible parking spaces, or building entrances. Vendors must remove all trash and maintain the operating area in a clean condition. The Town reserves the right to deny or revoke permission for locations that generate persistent traffic, noise, or litter complaints from adjacent businesses or residents.
