Section 11-32-7.H governs signage for every home occupation permitted under City Code chapter 32, and it is written as a near-total ban with one narrow carve-out. The subsection bars exterior display or exterior signs or interior display or interior signs which are visible from outside the dwelling, covering everything from a yard sign to a lit window display, and it allows only one sign not to exceed four (4) square feet in area. That four-square-foot cap applies whether the sign sits in a yard, on the house or in a window facing the street, and there is no separate allowance for a second sign advertising a different service under the same permit.

The rule sits inside the same chapter that limits home occupations to hair salons, massage therapy, photography studios, small appliance repair, tailoring and instructional classes with one pupil at a time, so a home business already operating under one of those categories cannot supplement its administrative permit with banner signs, sandwich boards or additional window displays. Section 11-32-9 lets the City inspect the premises at any time an administrative permit is in force, and an oversized or additional sign found during that inspection would put the permit itself at risk under section 11-32-5's conditions of approval.

By contrast, section 11-33-3 allows a bed and breakfast a larger allowance, an identification sign of the same four-square-foot maximum on each street-facing wall, showing that Lakeville treats the tiny home-occupation allowance as intentionally stricter than its other home-based use categories.
