Subsection D(5) reaches advertising anywhere, not just on-site signage: "There shall be no advertising on or in the vicinity of the property or otherwise which identifies the home occupation by street address." In practice this bars flyers, curb-parked vehicle signage, online listings or business cards that give the home's street address as the place of business.
These sign limits sit alongside subsection D(2), which separately bars altering the home's appearance so it "is likely recognized as serving a nonresidential use" through color, materials, lighting, signs, sounds, or vibrations.
