150(E)(6) is unambiguous: no advertising signs or displays are permitted for a home occupation, full stop, regardless of size or placement. The prohibition sits among the thirteen performance standards the Director of Community Development must find satisfied before issuing a Home Occupation Permit under subsection (E), so a business that puts up a yard sign, window sign, or vehicle-mounted advertising display is out of compliance with its permit from the moment the sign goes up. Subsection (E)(11) extends the restriction to how the business is advertised more broadly: no listing or advertising of the home occupation's address for business purposes is permitted except in normal listings, which explicitly excludes display ads in telephone, business and city directories and in newspapers and magazines.

The code does allow the telephone number and address to appear on business cards. Subsection (E)(12) reinforces the same intent from a different angle, requiring that no portion of the business, including equipment, activities, and materials, be visible from a public or private street or right-of-way, so even indoor signage visible through a window would violate the standard.
