Titusville, FL Landscaping Rules: Water Restrictions (2026)

City Code § 21-61 sets Titusville's landscape irrigation schedule, and the days differ by season. m. m. On every watering day, no more than three-fourths of an inch of water may be applied per irrigation zone, and a zone may not run more than one hour. Section 21-62 carves out seven exceptions that run on any day at any time: micro-spray, micro-jet, drip or bubbler systems; new landscaping for an initial sixty-day establishment period at reduced volume; watering in chemicals like fertilizer or pesticide within twenty-four hours of application, capped at one-quarter inch; system testing and repair up to twenty minutes per zone per hour; a hand-held hose with an automatic shutoff nozzle; air-conditioning condensate discharge; and recycled water from a wet detention pond not augmented from groundwater or the public supply.

Section 21-65 lets the water resources director grant a variance from the specific watering days on a showing of substantial economic, health or other hardship, though even a variance cannot exceed two irrigation days per week during Daylight Saving Time or one day per week during Eastern Standard Time.
