Section 304-10 exempts police, emergency and Town-owned vehicles, as well as vehicles operated by contractors performing maintenance, construction or repair work on the bikeway, so Town crews and first responders can still access the corridor when needed.

Section 304-11 sets a flat $90 fine for any violation of the article, separate from and higher than the Code's $100-per-day general default under Section 1-2, giving the bikeway restriction its own fixed penalty.
