Section 307-8 of Chapter 307, Vehicles and Traffic, consolidates Manchester's core on-street parking prohibitions into a single list of restrictions rather than scattering them across multiple sections. It is unlawful to park more than 12 inches from the curb, within 10 feet of a fire hydrant, in a marked loading and unloading zone, in a way that obstructs a driveway, on a sidewalk, on the wrong side of the street, within 25 feet of a street corner, within 25 feet of a stop sign, over the painted lines marking a parking space, in an area posted as a no-parking zone, in a spot marked as a bus stop, in an intersection, or in a manner that constitutes double-parking.

Every one of these restrictions carries the same flat $15 penalty. The section sits within Article II, "Parking, Stopping and Standing," alongside the Chief of Police's authority under Section 307-5 to make additional parking regulations for Town-maintained but unaccepted streets, and Section 307-6's authorization for the Chief to establish a vehicle pound for cars towed under this article.
