Full Breakdown

Code § 21-108(D) prohibits loading or unloading a vehicle, or opening, closing, or handling boxes, crates, bales, containers, building materials, or garbage cans between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. in a way that creates a noise disturbance across a real property boundary in a residential zone or a designated noise-sensitive zone such as a school or hospital. The rule is time- and zone-specific, daytime deliveries and commercial-zone activity aren't covered.
