Full Breakdown
Sec. 38-46(b)(8) states the county's noise-control chapter 'does not apply to... the emission of sound from aircraft or airport operations at the Gwinnett County Airport in accordance with state and federal regulations.' That means the county's distance-and-time noise limits in Sec. 38-47 and 38-48 never reach aircraft engine noise, flight patterns, or airport ground operations; those are governed exclusively by FAA and Georgia aviation rules.
Violations & Fines
None locally. Aircraft and airport sound is exempt from Chapter 38 enforcement; complaints route to FAA or state aviation channels, not county code enforcement.
