In Port St. Lucie, Sec. 94.06(c) bars 'using or operating any loudspeaker, loudspeaker system, sound amplifier or other similar device' between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. on weekdays and 10 p.m. and 10 a.m. on weekends and holidays in or adjacent to residential areas when 'plainly audible across the real property line of the source,' unless a city permit for a public performance or gathering has been obtained. Sec. 94.06(b) also bars amplified radios/players that are unreasonably loud, cause perceptible vibration inside a residence, or exceed the Table I dB limits. In the unincorporated county, amplified music is judged against the § 28-110 residential limits of 60 dBA (day) and 55 dBA (night) at the property line.
