Under Pueblo Municipal Code § 11-1-607(d), noise measured 25 feet from the property line above the applicable db(A) figure is prima facie evidence of a public nuisance. Daytime (7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.) limits are 55 db(A) residential, 60 db(A) commercial, 70 db(A) light industrial and 80 db(A) industrial; nighttime (7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.) limits drop five points in every zone, 50, 55, 65 and 75 db(A). Periodic, impulsive or shrill noise counts as a nuisance at levels five db(A) below these thresholds, and short bursts up to ten db(A) over the daytime limit are allowed for no more than fifteen minutes in any one hour.
