Summary

Rockwall exempts leaf blowers and other power lawn tools from noise limits only between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.

The sound produced by operating, or permitting the operation of, any mechanically powered saw, drill, sander, router, grinder, lawn or garden tool, lawnmower, or any other similar device used between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., sounds produced by these mechanical power tools must be operated in such a manner so as not to exceed the sound levels as listed in section 16-184 at the receiving property boundary.
