Bonneville County, ID Parking Rules: Commercial & Oversized Vehicles (2026)

Section 71.01(B) requires that commercial vehicles and farm machinery not regularly used, meaning moved less than once per month, be stored or parked behind the building setback line and not in front of the residential dwelling unit; on corner lots, they must also stay behind the side-yard setback line facing the street. Section 71.01(F) separately restricts on-street parking of commercial rigs: commercial vehicles and farm machinery cannot be parked on any street, road or highway except for the purpose of loading or unloading such vehicle in an expeditious manner, and that stop cannot exceed two hours. The same subsection also bars any vehicle exceeding 263 inches in length, 82 inches in height or 80 inches in width from parking on a street, road or highway at all, and requires cars and pickups parked curbside to sit with their interior wheels no farther than 18 inches from the curb.
