Bonneville County, ID Parking Rules: Street Parking Limits (2026)

01(C) lists 13 places where no vehicle, object or equipment may be parked, placed or maintained except when necessary to allow traffic movement or on direction of a peace officer or traffic control device: on or obstructing a sidewalk, walkway, bridle path or bicycle path; on the traffic side of a vehicle already stopped at a curb; within any public or private driveway or street entrance; within an intersection, crosswalk, or 15 feet of a fire hydrant; within 30 feet of a flashing beacon, stop sign or traffic signal approach; within 50 feet of a railroad crossing; within 20 feet of a fire station driveway or intersection crosswalk; beside a street excavation or obstruction in a way that blocks traffic flow; facing against the direction of traffic; on a bridge or elevated highway structure; anywhere signed against parking; in a fire apparatus access road; or to perform vehicle repairs other than temporary emergency repairs.

01(D) further limits where on-street parking is allowed at all: only county streets built with enough extra pavement width for on-street parking may host it, and no vehicle may sit in the same spot on any county street for more than 48 consecutive hours.
