06(B)(5) makes it unlawful and a declared public nuisance to park farm equipment, trucks (except small panel trucks or pickup trucks), utility trailers, truck trailers, boats, recreational vehicles or buses on any public way in a residential section of the county for more than three hours continuously. Unlike the seven-day thresholds that apply to inoperable vehicles and RV/boat storage on private lots under the same section, this three-hour rule targets larger commercial and oversized vehicles specifically on the public way, meaning streets and roads rather than a homeowner's own driveway or yard.

The exclusion for small panel trucks and pickup trucks means an ordinary work pickup parked on the street is not swept in, but a full tractor-trailer, dump truck, tour bus or piece of farm machinery is. 09 if the owner does not comply. An aggrieved owner can appeal a notice or order to the Daviess County Property Maintenance Code Board of Appeals within 20 days of service, filing at the Judge/Executive's office, 212 St. Ann Street, Room 202, Owensboro.
