Dunedin Land Development Code Section 105-27.1.1.1 limits the size of commercial motor vehicles that may be parked at a single-family residence and restricts associated utility trailers.
Under Section 105-27.1.1.1, residents may park one commercial motor vehicle at a single-family residence subject to size limits, and one associated utility trailer not exceeding eight feet in length or eight feet in height may be stored within the secondary front, rear, or side yards if effectively screened from adjacent lots and streets. Vehicles exceeding 22 feet in length or 8 feet in width are prohibited from parking on residential streets or rights-of-way unless actively loading or unloading. Larger commercial vehicles must be parked at a commercial site or approved storage facility, not on residentially zoned property.
Code Enforcement issues a notice of violation; daily civil penalties accrue through the special magistrate until the vehicle is removed or relocated.
