' A separate ban covers parking: a truck cannot park on a city right-of-way unless signs there authorize truck parking, again unless the driver shows the truck is on duty. The ordinance builds in a rebuttable presumption that any truck parked in one spot for more than four hours is not on duty, which effectively caps how long a commercial truck can sit on an unposted residential or commercial street. 020(G)(4): the truck must be actively delivering or picking up goods, performing the service it was built for, or en route to or from where it will be garaged or serviced, and even then only if it is taking the shortest route between its duty point and the nearest truck route. 020(G)(5).
