Gwinnett UDO ยง230-20.5 bars the parking/storage of heavy commercial vehicles in single-family residential districts (R-100, R-75, RA-200, etc.). Prohibited vehicles include tractors, trailers, tractor-trailers, dump trucks, wreckers, taxis (if used for overnight storage of fares), buses, and any commercial vehicle with a GVWR over 12,500 lbs or more than 2 axles. One service van, pickup, or small commercial truck under 12,500 lbs is allowed per dwelling if parked in the driveway. Vehicles with commercial lettering are otherwise allowed if passenger-size.
Code Enforcement citation, 10-day cure, then $250-$1,000 per day. Repeat offenders subject to municipal court prosecution.
