Gwinnett Ordinance Chapter 74 (Traffic) and GA Code ยง40-6-203 govern street parking. Vehicles cannot block driveways, crosswalks, or be within 15 ft of a hydrant or 20 ft of an intersection. On unincorporated residential streets, parking is permitted unless signed otherwise; a vehicle left in the same spot >72 hours may be tagged and towed as abandoned under GA ยง40-11-1. No overnight ban countywide, but HOAs frequently impose stricter rules. On-street parking is prohibited on curves, hills, and designated no-parking zones.
Parking citation: $25-$75. Abandoned vehicle tow + $150+ recovery/storage fees. Fire lane or hydrant violation: up to $150.
