San Antonio §19-194 restricts parking commercial and oversized vehicles in residential zoning districts (FR, RD, UD, and other residential zones). UDC §35-383 specifically excludes truck-tractors, road-tractors, semi-trailers, trailers, and commercial motor vehicles with 3+ axles from the trip preparation exception available to recreational vehicles. Texas Transportation Code §545.307 prohibits parking commercial motor vehicles over 10,000 lbs within 300 feet of residences on public roads for extended periods. Loading/unloading exceptions apply only for the time actually necessary.
First violation: $100 minimum. Second: $200 minimum. Third+: $300 minimum. Maximum $2,000.
