Waukesha's gross weight parking restriction, codified at Municipal Code Sec. 04(10), targets exactly the problem residents call about: a semi-tractor, dump truck or construction rig parked at the curb overnight. on weekdays, and the ban runs all day on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The only carve-out is a vehicle actually engaged in loading or unloading at the time. outside the Central Business District, and that permit is only available for vehicles with a gross vehicle weight under 10,000 pounds; boats and trailers are never eligible regardless of weight.
