Section 40-326 directs the traffic engineer, once a disability parking permit is granted under Section 40-324, to erect a sign bearing the words 'Reserved Parking' and the international wheelchair symbol at the designated space, and states that the respective curb shall be painted yellow, marking that single space for the permit holder's exclusive use. Separately, Section 40-361(c), part of the residential-only parking rules for the 3500 and 3600 blocks of Washington, Adams and Jefferson Streets, requires that curbing at three specific intersections, Washington Street and Alley 35 West, Adams Street and Alley 35 West, and Jefferson Street and Alley 35 West, be painted yellow on both sides to denote 'No Parking.'
