St. Lucie County, FL Parking Rules: Driveway Rules (2026)

Port St. Lucie's Section 72.01(h) prohibits parking on any part of an improved residential front yard except in an area specifically designed and constructed for that use, such as an impervious or semi-impervious driveway, and absolutely bars parking on the wide side of the front yard. Section 72.01(b) prohibits standing or parking in front of a public or private driveway, and Section 72.02(b) bars parking on any private driveway or parking area without the owner's consent. Recreational vehicles and utility trailers must sit on a paved driveway or to the side or rear. Unincorporated county rules similarly require front-yard boats, trailers, and RVs on a paved pad.
