Vehicle washing for hire on public driveways or sidewalks is illegal. Only temporary emergency repairs are allowed on public streets per §10.40.070. Inoperable, dismantled, or abandoned vehicles stored on private property visible from a street or other public property are declared public nuisances under §6.28.010 and may be abated through notice, hearing, and removal. Vehicles fully enclosed in a building or properly registered storage are exempt.
