A non-electric vehicle or an unplugged plug-in electric vehicle parked in a marked, signed charging space is fined $55 for a first offense, $100 for a second, and $200 for a third or subsequent offense, plus court costs. Unauthorized vehicles, including non-electric vehicles or any vehicle not connected for charging, may be towed at the owner's expense, as may any vehicle left in a charging space more than six hours.
