Woodbridge, NJ Parking Rules: Overnight Parking (2026)

Township Code § 7-15 declares that no person shall park a vehicle between the hours specified, any day, on any of the streets or parts of streets described in the section's schedule. That schedule, amended most recently by Ordinance No. 2017-110, lists street-by-street overnight bans that apply to any parked vehicle, not just commercial trucks. Landing Lane and Leesville Avenue (from Rogers Street to the Rahway border) are closed to parking on both sides from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. along their entire length under Ordinance No.

2015-49, and Ralph Avenue carries the identical 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. ban along its full length. North James Street is restricted on the north side from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. between East Middlesex Avenue and Route NJ 35, a wider nightly window than the other listed streets. Because § 7-15 operates street-by-street rather than township-wide, the restriction only binds where signs have actually been posted; § 7-16's separate 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. curfew for heavy trucks, buses and recreational vehicles applies township-wide and layers on top of any § 7-15 street listing.
