Full Breakdown

Pueblo Municipal Code § 15-1-12 reserves marked freight curb loading zones for licensed trucks during posted hours, or for any vehicle holding a freight curb loading zone permit from the Chief of Police. Even with a permit, a vehicle occupying the zone for loading or unloading materials may not stop more than 15 minutes, absent written permission from the Chief of Police. The Chief may also issue permits letting a delivery vehicle back in at right angles to the curb. A loading zone permit costs $25, expires each calendar year, and must be displayed in the vehicle's left windshield while parked in the zone.

Violations & Fines

Parking or standing in a freight loading zone without a permit, or exceeding the 15-minute limit without written police permission, is enforced as a parking violation under the City's traffic code.
