City of Ocala Code of Ordinances § 66-68 makes it unlawful to park a vehicle on any street or city-owned or leased parking lot for longer than 30 minutes between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. once the location has been marked with signs prohibiting all-night parking. The only exception written into the section covers physicians and other persons responding to emergency calls; there is no general grace period for residents or visitors. Because the restriction only takes effect where signs have actually been posted giving notice, an unposted street or lot is not covered by section 66-68 even though it may be reached by other chapter 66 provisions.

Enforcement runs through the city's parking enforcement specialists and the Ocala Police Department, who can chalk, ticket, or immobilize a vehicle under the chapter's general enforcement sections. Under the chapter's schedule of fines in section 66-41, a section 66-68 violation is listed as a flat $25.00 first-violation civil penalty, a table entry that (unlike several other parking offenses in the same schedule) carries no escalating second, third, fourth, or fifth-violation tier printed alongside it. Vehicle owners and operators are made jointly and severally liable for fines and fees imposed under the chapter.

A person who fails to pay a fine, respond to a notice, or appear as summoned can have a warrant issued for arrest under section 66-40, and a vehicle immobilized by an enforcement specialist or officer may not lawfully be moved by the violator. The all-night parking rule sits within Chapter 66, Article II of the Code of Ordinances, alongside the city's other stopping, standing, and parking regulations for metered zones, loading zones, and alleys.
