Saint Paul prohibits street parking of RVs 22+ ft long and 7+ ft wide for more than 30 minutes (Sec. 157.11). Unattached trailers limited to 48 hours on any street.
Saint Paul Legislative Code Chapter 157 imposes strict limits on parking larger vehicles and trailers on public streets. Section 157.11 prohibits vehicles or combinations of vehicles that are 22 feet or more in length and 7 feet or more in width from parking on any street or alley for more than 30 minutes, with exceptions for licensed mobile food vehicles. Trailers including cargo trailers, utility trailers, campers, and boat trailers that are not connected to a motor vehicle capable of towing them may not remain on any street or alley on the same block for more than 48 consecutive hours. Unattached trailers parked in violation are considered illegally parked and unauthorized, and may be towed and impounded pursuant to a peace officer or parking enforcement officer report. During Snow Emergencies, all vehicles including RVs and trailers must comply with night plow and day plow route restrictions or face immediate towing.
