Vehicles may not be stored on public streets for more than 72 continuous hours. Parking must be within 12 inches of the curb on the passenger side. Residential Parking Zone permits are available in designated areas near transit and commercial districts.
TMC Chapter 10.28 governs parking regulations. Vehicles parked over 24 hours that appear wrecked or dismantled are considered abandoned. Parking is prohibited within 10 feet of fire hydrants, 20 feet of crosswalks, and in bike lanes, sidewalks, or driveways. Parallel parking facing the wrong direction is prohibited even in cul-de-sacs. Residential Parking Zone permits are available through the Police Department.
