Vista Code Enforcement enforces state and city parking regulations and processes all parking citations issued within the city. California Vehicle Code Section 22651(k) applies: vehicles parked on public streets for more than 72 consecutive hours may be cited and towed. Posted time limits and signage are enforced where applicable. Code Enforcement removes abandoned, wrecked, dismantled, or inoperable vehicles from public right-of-way to protect community health and safety. Temporary parking permits for posted zones may be obtained from Traffic Engineering on a case-by-case basis. For parking ticket questions, contact Vista Code Enforcement.
