Failure to comply authorizes the county to abate the nuisance with contractors and record an abatement lien against the parcel including all costs, administrative fees, and up to 1,000 dollar per day civil penalties.
Administrative citations typically start at 100 to 250 dollars for first offenses, increasing to 500 and 1,000 dollars for repeat violations, plus abatement costs.
