Full Breakdown
Section 6-1-17 bars anyone from prowling, loitering, entering, or 'going about' the premises of another, including a room, house, hotel, tourist cabin, business, or accessory building, without the occupant's express or implied invitation or consent, and separately bars trespassing on or interfering with another's property without the owner's consent. Violators are guilty of both trespassing and disorderly conduct. The section sets no fine of its own, so Midland's general penalty clause (Section 1-3-1) applies, capping fines at $500 with each day of a continuing violation treated as a separate offense.
Violations & Fines
A violation is a misdemeanor under the City's general penalty clause, fined up to $500, with each day of continued violation counted as a separate offense.
