Cities like Yonkers and White Plains add their own park bans. The NY Clean Indoor Air Act (NY PHL Article 13-E) covers indoor workplaces and restaurants. Enforcement is by Westchester County Police, county park rangers, and city code officers.
Civil fines start at $50 for a first violation and rise for repeat offenses. Park rangers may also order violators to leave county property and issue trespass warnings.
