Summary

Cranston bans drinking any intoxicating beverage on public streets, highways, parkways or city parks, in or outside a vehicle, under a fifty-dollar fine.

No person, whether in or outside a motor vehicle, shall drink any intoxicating beverage on any public street, highway or parkway within the city, or in any such public park owned by the city. The penalty for a violation of this section shall be a fine not exceeding fifty dollars ($50.00) or imprisonment not exceeding thirty (30) days for each offense.
