Summary

Cranston prohibits smoking, vaping, or otherwise consuming marijuana in public places citywide, including streets, sidewalks, parks, and city buildings open to the public, under Chapter 8.46 of the city code.

It shall be unlawful for any person to consume marijuana, whether by smoking, vaping, or any other method, in a public place as set forth in Section 8.46.010(A).

B. It shall be unlawful for any person to consume marijuana, whether by smoking, vaping, or any other method, while operating, or occupying a motor vehicle as a passenger, on a public roadway.
