Full Breakdown

Village of Little Chute Code § 26-166 defines 'play vehicle' to include skateboards, coasters, roller skates, sleds, toboggans, and unicycles (§ 26-163), then bars them outright. No one may operate a play vehicle on any street in the village, and except for tricycles and coaster wagons used by young children, sidewalk use is prohibited in any block containing a business, industry, church, school, library, or park. Play vehicles are also barred from public parking lots and grounds, and from private lots or driveways without the owner's consent. Parents or guardians who knowingly permit a child to break these rules are themselves liable.

Violations & Fines

A rider 14 or older can be cited under the general penalty (§ 1-12) or village fee schedule; riders under 14 get a warning notice, escalating to bicycle safety court or juvenile court referral for repeat offenses in the same year.
