Violations & Fines

Interfering with, obstructing or hindering a lawful Section 1713.02 inspection, or otherwise violating this chapter, is a first-degree misdemeanor under Section 1713.99, with each day of continued violation a separate offense. Separately, failing to correct a suspended registration or continuing to rent after revocation, or ignoring a notice to register, carries an administrative fine of up to $500.00 per day under Section 1713.025(b), plus further enforcement until the property is brought into compliance.
