West Sacramento, CA Rental Property Rules: Rent Increase Notice (2026)

A. A park owner shall provide the city with a rent increase notice whenever the rent on any park tenant in any mobile home park in the city is increased by any amount; and

B. A park owner shall file such notice with the city manager not fewer than ninety days before the rent increase is to take effect; and

C. At a minimum, each rent increase notice for each site shall include the following and any additional information as may be required by this chapter or the city manager or designee:

1. Current site rent (before rent increase);

2. The amount of the rent increase;

3. The effective date of the rent increase;

4. The reason for the rent increase;

5. The address and number of the mobile home site subject to the noticed rent increase; and 6. The date(s) and amount(s) of each rent increase within the twelve-month period prior to the rent increase notice (if none, the date and amount of the previous rent increase) for the affected mobile home site.
