Section 15-1-111 of the Lawton City Code, "Public nuisances affecting public safety," enumerates eleven specific conditions the city treats as public nuisances, several targeting the public way. " The same section also reaches low-hanging tree limbs, less than eight feet over a sidewalk or fourteen feet over a street, and any unauthorized crowd-gathering use of a sidewalk or street that obstructs traffic (item 9).
