Under Town Sign Code Title 19, the placement of signs in the public right-of-way is prohibited at all times, and the Town specifically lists temporary garage-sale and open-house signs as examples. Such signs are removed and discarded by the Town. A resident may display one sign on their own property, not exceeding 6 square feet in area and 4 feet in height. Posting signs on medians, utility poles, street corners, or another person's property is not permitted without the owner's consent.
