Lewisville allows temporary garage sale signs on the property where the sale is conducted. Signs may also be placed on other private property with the owner's permission. Garage sale signs are prohibited on public rights-of-way, sidewalks, utility poles, traffic signs, median islands, and city property. Signs placed in prohibited locations may be removed by the city without notice.
