050(F)(6) sets exterior lighting standards for the Main Street Talkeetna District alongside its shielding rules: fixtures must be located and shielded to direct light toward the ground to keep spillage off neighboring lots and out of the night sky, and street lighting or fixtures mounted higher than 20 feet, or rated 150 watts or more, need downward directional shielding. 050(F)(6)(c) prohibits flashing lights district-wide, but exempts seasonal holiday lights used during the period directly associated with the holiday, meaning a business or homeowner in the district can run string lights or a lit display around a specific holiday without those lights counting as a banned flashing light, provided the display comes down or goes dark once that holiday period passes.

070(F)(3)(c), and for the Spur Road North (SRN) and West Talkeetna Townsite (WTT) districts as well, so the holiday exception runs across the developed core of the Talkeetna Special Land Use District, not just the Main Street blocks. 050(F)(7) independently ban reader-board, flashing, rotating, animated, or internally illuminated signs, so a permanent illuminated sign cannot be dressed up as a holiday display to dodge that rule; the exception in (F)(6)(c) covers seasonal lighting displays, not sign structures.
