Table 5.7-1, allowed temporary on-site sign standards by type, sets the rule for window signs under the 'Commercial' category of Sec. 120.05.070(d)(7): maximum area is capped at 25 percent of window area, with no maximum number specified, no height or setback requirement since the sign sits on the glass itself, and a maximum time period of 90 days. Unlike nearly every other entry in the same table, window signs require no permit; by contrast, subdivision directional signs, subdivision flags, and multifamily leasing signs in the same table all require a permit before installation.

Section 120.05.070(d)(7) frames the whole table as governing temporary signage: banners and other temporary signage displays are permitted only for the time limits the table sets, and inflatable signs are banned outright regardless of location. Because window signs sit within that temporary-sign framework, a business cannot use rotating or successive window displays to keep the same message up indefinitely at more than 25 percent coverage; once the 90-day period runs, the display must come down or be replaced with signage that restarts within the same area and time cap. The clear-vision-triangle footnote that applies to setback-based signs in the table does not apply to window signs, since window signs are affixed to the building glass rather than freestanding.
