Full Breakdown
City Code § 91.64 sets the collection window: nothing goes to the curb before 4:00 p.m. the day preceding your scheduled collection day, and empty containers must be pulled back onto the property no later than 6:00 p.m. on collection day itself. Materials that never got collected because they were improperly prepared or placed also have to be off the right-of-way by that same 6:00 p.m. deadline. Carts go along the property's public frontage unless Public Works has approved an alternate spot, and between collections they can't sit in the front yard or forward of the building line if there's other space on the lot to store them. The Department of Public Works and the Health Officer enforce this under § 91.61.
Violations & Fines
Violations of Chapter 91 carry a fine up to the maximum allowed by RSA 47:17, and each day a violation continues counts as a separate offense under § 91.76.
