Full Breakdown
Under the Patrick E. Lindemann Recycling Ordinance, the City of Lansing (Ingham County, Michigan) runs curbside solid waste and recycling collection through its Public Service Department. Containers go out in the right-of-way on the collection day assigned to each route, and the ordinance caps service at a maximum of one collection per week. Lansing does not offer twice-weekly pickup. The Public Service Director sets the specific route schedule, subject to Council approval.
