Gresham, OR Trash & Recycling: Holiday Pickup Schedule (2026)

Under Gresham Revised Code § 7.25.205(1), collection trucks in predominately residential and multifamily neighborhoods must stick to a 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. window: except when weather or a holiday schedule requires extended hours. The code doesn't spell out a fixed day-by-day holiday shift; instead it gives licensees room to run earlier or later than normal during holiday weeks so routes still get finished. Commercial and industrial areas carry no hour limit at all, holiday or not. Residents whose pickup falls on or after a city holiday should expect trucks any time that day rather than assuming the usual afternoon cutoff.
