Garbage collection occurs twice weekly; vegetation/yard waste once weekly; recycling once weekly. Containers may be set out no earlier than 24 hours before pickup and must be removed within 24 hours after collection. SWA contracts collection to franchised haulers (Waste Management, Republic Services, etc.) by service area. Holiday schedule modifications posted at swa.org.
Containers left out beyond 24 hours: $50 first violation, $100 repeat. Improper setout: warning then citation.
