Chapter 10 of the Safety Harbor Code of Ordinances (Garbage and Refuse) authorizes the city's Sanitation Division to collect solid waste, yard waste, and recyclables on designated weekly routes. All garbage, trash, and yard waste must be at the curb no later than 6:30 a.m. on the scheduled collection day. Items may not be placed at the curb earlier than 5:00 p.m. the day before collection. Containers must be removed from the right-of-way no later than midnight on the collection day. Holiday schedules shift collection by one day; check the published Sanitation/Recycling calendar.
